About HudsLax

Hudsonville Area Lacrosse Association (Hudslax/Hudsonville Youth Lacrosse) was formed in 2012 to give kids in the area the opportunity to learn and play the game of lacrosse. Lacrosse has grown into an official varsity sports at Hudsonville High School, including JV and Varsity teams. Our youth program is thriving as well, having grown from 79 to 142 players since 2017. Initially the program offered play from 5th through 8th grade, but we've grown to include boys teams ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade. Hudsonville Youth Lacrosse is involved in the Michigan Lacrosse League (MLL) which is comprised of 6 top programs/teams from each side of the state. The MLL offers competition throughout the season, culminating in a championship tournament in May. Hudslax has continued to promote development and growth in each aspect of the game both on the field and off.

We work directly with our Varsity program to work on skills, drills, sets and verbiage our players will hear and see if they continue to play lacrosse in high school. Additionally, we partner with the same vendors as the varsity program to bring the same equipment offerings and promotions to each program. At this time, we do not offer a Summer program, but we do work with local Travel clubs for team placement. (Most of these organizations run tryouts in August for the Next season). By affiliating ourselves with local travel clubs, we are afforded specialized training for our members.
