Announcing the True Michigan Tryouts for the 2018-2019 Season

True’s multifaceted approach to training lacrosse players has garnered a reputation for being the leader in developing skilled, smart athletes. We offer players more training hours to perfect their skills and grow their game, access to professional, experienced coaches who have proven themselves both as students and teachers of the game. True teams gain exclusive entry into some of the top tournaments in the country, where they will get to put their skills to the test against other competitive teams. True Lacrosse provides thorough recruiting guidance to help players whose goal it is to compete at the next level and find the school and program that best fits their academic and athletic needs.

Additionally, when you join the True Family, you become part of a supportive network of coaches, parents, and young athletes who work together to create a positive, educational environment in which players can fulfill their potential and become their best selves. The lessons and skills they learn on the field will serve them throughout their daily lives, lessons such as teamwork, accountability, leadership, and hard work.

Instructional Positional Camp

What sets Michigan Lacrosse Instructional Camps apart from the rest? Our player to coach ratio is never more than 8:1. We provide at least one individual one-on-one private lesson at every summer camp where you can work on the skills you need the most with your own private coach. We do not waste time with non-lacrosse sessions. You are here to get better at lacrosse. Every session is all lacrosse, all the time. We stress fundamentals, but we also teach advanced techniques necessary in today's game. We offer attack, midfield, defense, goaltender, and faceoff position camps.

REFUND POLICY:

After June 15, refunds (minus the $50 administrative fee) can only be given for certified medical reasons. Certification must be in the form of a signed medical statement from a physician, and it must be received before the day camp begins or no refund can be given.

I hope the season went well!

Anyway, within my time coaching at Hudsonville, I've realized that kids playing lacrosse in the off season is very important.

With that being said, I wanted to reach out to you and Hudsonville lacrosse to let you know that I am the Camp Director of Beechwood Churches Sports Summer Camp. This year i've implimented a full week of lacrosse during the week of July 30-August 2. The morning session of camp is for K-2nd graders, while the evening session is for 3rd-5th grade.

The premise of camp is to integrate the challenges of sports into faith.

The attachment contains all the information the parents would need to find out more information about the camp.

West Michigan Lacrosse Summer Camp
by Master Admin posted 05/10/2018

WMLAX Summer sessions are designed to be a relaxed atmosphere for players of all genders and skill level to learn and improve their playing skill.  We apply heavy skills and drills sessions to improve the fundamentals of lacrosse to improve the performance of each player individually.  The summer session is comprised of 2 hour practices 2 times a week (Tuesday & Thursday) from 6pm to 8pm.  Practices are not manditory like some other programs, you make what you can.  There will be game play and inter club play with other clubs as well as specialized clinics and tournament play for those players interested in tournament play.  We are not a heavy travel team, we build player skills thru an integrated play and train program.  There are opportunities for players interested in tournament play to join our program in these events, but our focus is on training skills needed to improve player attributes.  Focus on footwork, positioning, stick handling, defense, shooting, off hand play, goalie training, offensive manuvering, and much more.  All members of WMLAX will also be able to join the program throughout the year at any clinics, and tournaments that we host free of charge.  That includes our Yeti Lacrosse Festival in October.

Registration will be $79 per player and will include:

Access to all practices, and skill training sessions

Inclusion in all clinics hosted by WMLAX for free all year long

Inclusion in Yeti Lacrosse Festival in Oct/Nov for free

Jersey or Pinnie to keep and much, much, more.
